Region: Hawke's Bay, New Zealand
Grape Variety: Pinot Noir
Rating:
Highlights / Critic Review:
Sourced exclusively from Te Mata estate's own vineyards, the estate wines represent the best qualities of their variety, vintage, and Hawke's Bay origin. A mixture of new and seasoned French oak barriques for 11 months’ maturation.
Tasting Notes:
Cherry red in colour. Bouquets of raspberry, peonies, oolong tea and manuka honey. Bright red fruits, along with lingering notes of baking spice and sandalwood, merge with the ripe, soft tannins to create a generous palate and fine, moreish finish.
