Region: Hawke's Bay, New Zealand
Grape Variety: Chadonnay
Rating:
Highlights / Critic Review:
Sourced exclusively from Te Mata estate's own vineyards, the estate wines represent the best qualities of their variety, vintage, and Hawke's Bay origin. Barrel maturation on gross lees.
Tasting Notes:
Lemon in colour. Refreshing appeal of ripe peach, grapefruit lemonade, and fresh, juicy pineapple on the nose. On the palate, toast cashew, and barrel char combine with white pear and candied lemon to drive the concentrated fruit flavours to a fine, dry finish.
Wonderful to pair with both simple prepared and fuller flavoured seafood, and white meat dishes.
