Highlights / Critic Review:
The Selbach family has been in the German wine business since 1660. Today Johannes Selbach and his wife Barbara manage the winery, which has become one of the leading Mosel producers of wines. Many of their wines have received excellent reviews.
Tasting Notes:
Mouth watering Riesling combining cool minerality from the slate and the refreshing ripe apple and citrus fine Riesling is famous for. A long, cool fermentation produced a medium bodied, food friendly wine that is not sweet.
Good to pair with savoury dishes of Asian or fusion cuisine, a broad range of classic preparations to plain, hearty picnic fare.
