Description

Region: Marlborough, New Zealand

Grape Variety: Pinot Noir

Rating: JS 90, BC 89, Vinous 88

Highlights / Critic Review:

Consisting of small parcels ofunique fruit, sometimes from a single vineyard, that stand out as excellent orsuperior examples of a particular variety. Harvested exclusively from themature Eyrie Vineyard in Marlborough's lower Walhopai Valley. Partiallyfermented in whole bunch for lifted aromas.

Tasting Notes:

Elegant and aromatic with suppletannins and lingering flavors. Ripe plum and cherry fruits mingle with delicatelifted floral notes on the nose and flow through to dark fruits and hints ofcoffee on the palate.

Good to pair with PekingDuck, Roast goose and pigeon, Truffles Dishes, Oily Fish.
