Highlights / Critic Review:
Located in Wilyabrup sub-regionneighboring the best vineyard of Vasse Felix, Cullen and Moss Wood. Thevineyard is named as "The Scholar" by current CEO, Simon Pratten, inhonor of his father's significant service to medicine and education. Onlyreleased in years believed this has been achieved.
Tasting Notes:
Mulberry, cassis and capsicum overtones on the nose. Mulberries, cassis and plum with some secondarychocolate tones. Well balanced wine. While delicious to drink young for itsprimary fruit characters, this wine will gain in complexity with cellaring forup to 20 years. Good to pair with Slow-cooked Lamb, Stewed Meat,Braised Dishes, Cheese.
