Region: Barossa Valley, Australia
Grape Variety: Shiraz
Highlights / Critic Review:
Angelfish is a private label madeby McWilliam’s of which the wines are sourced from the best regions in S.E.Australia. Matured in French and American oak, this Shiraz was fined beforebottling.
Tasting Notes:
Blackberry fruit, licorice notesand blood plums allbeing held together by fresh biscuit and mocha oak on thenose. The chocolate and fresh plum fruit combining power with freshness. Allthis intensity of fruit is held together by a definitive fine tannin line whichkeeps the wine well balanced.
Good to pair with RoastedMeat, Beef, Spicy food including Sichuan cuisine, Mature and hard cheese.
