Syrah and Shiraz are two names for the same grape, associated with different wine styles. Syrah is the original name of the variety and the Rhône Valley of France is the home of Syrah. Australians named it Shiraz to indicate the distinct wine style caused by the different growing conditions, microclimates and winemaking decisions in Australia.

In general, if the wine style is as refined and elegant as the Rhône Valley style, the wine label will show Syrah. If the wine style is close to the fruity, full-bodied wine style of Australia, the wine label will show Shiraz.

Syrah and Shiraz are on sale now. It's time to find out which wine style suits you most!
